Role
Adams is a rotation center for Houston, the bruising backup behind Sengun. A season-ending ankle injury thinned Houston's rebounding last year, which showed how much he matters. Healthy, he sets the league's hardest screens.
How he got here
Oklahoma City drafted Adams 12th overall in 2013 out of Pittsburgh. Houston acquired him in a trade from Memphis on February 1, 2024 and extended him on June 14, 2025.
