Role
Braun is Denver's starting small forward and the team's tone-setter on the wing. He defends the opponent's best perimeter scorer, runs the floor in transition and cuts hard off Jokic's passing. His 2025-26 season was cut to 44 games, but when healthy he is the connective tissue between Denver's stars.
How he got here
Denver drafted Braun 21st overall in 2022 out of Kansas and signed him on July 3, 2022. He signed a multi-year extension on October 20, 2025, keeping him under contract through 2031 before unrestricted free agency.
