Ring night at Madison Square Garden is a hard building to walk into cold. Philadelphia walks in with five stars who have never played a real game together, and New York walks in as defending champions with its rotation intact.
Betting angle
Knicks -5.5 (-105). The 76ers five primary options carry a combined 134 percent career usage, which is a chemistry problem that does not solve itself in one night. Josh Hart is cleared for New York, the champions know exactly who takes which shot and the Garden on ring night is the loudest spot on the opening slate. Lay the 5.5 with the home team that has already solved the puzzle Philadelphia is still holding.
Watch Tuesday at 7:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock from Madison Square Garden.
